Oil Painting Workshops

Tina is the exclusive provider of Oil Painting Lessons for Kiawah Island Golf Resorts. She has regularly scheduled classes from June-August at Mingo Point, Kiawah Island. Throughout the year, she teaches Private Lessons for individuals and groups. Whether you’re completely new to oil painting or you’re a pro, spend time with Charleston artist Tina Mayland and paint outdoors at beautiful Mingo Point. All professional-grade art equipment will be supplied, so bring nothing but your enthusiasm. The session content will be completely customized based on your particular goals.

 

Private sessions are perfect for:

 

*  An individual who’s always wanted to paint but was intimidated to give it a try

*  Corporate groups seeking new team-building ideas

*  Friends who want to try something new together

*  A family looking for an experience they will always remember

*  An experienced artist who didn’t bring his/her paints on vacation

The price is $300 for the three-hour lesson for one person (and you can bring one friend for free if you like). Add $150 for each additional friend, up to 12. If you always wanted to try your hand at oil painting, here’s your chance. Spend a half a day with a professional Charleston artist who will be with you every step of the way to make your experience enjoyable and successful. You’ll leave with a completed painting of the marsh at Mingo Point, as well as handouts to remind you of what you’ve learned. Any level of experience is welcomed, ages 18 and up. Bring nothing but your own enthusiasm! All professional-grade art equipment will be supplied, including smocks. $150 per person. Minimum of 2 and maximum of 12 students.

Come and paint outdoors at beautiful Mingo Point. A professional Charleston artist will teach all the basics and will be with you every step of the way to make your painting instruction fun and educational. Plus, you’ll complete your own painting by the end of the class! Any level of experience is welcomed, ages 12-17. All professional-grade art equipment will be supplied, including smocks. Students will have a break midway through the class where water and a snack will be served. Please dress in comfortable cloths that you’ll be willing to possibly get paint on. $95 per person.                                                                                   Oil Painting Demonstration – Free

                                                                                      at Mingo Point Oyster Roasts

Tina Mayland will give a live painting demonstration at the Mingo Point Oyster Roasts on Kiawah Island. This is a great way to see a professional artist at work and ask the questions you’ve always wondered about.
